Any ideas on what questions to ask? I know she'll be asking lots of Qs, but I'll kick myself if I think of something important afterwards...

I definitely want to enquire about my general lack of symptoms (apart from feeling like I'm about to come on - no cramps just that fullness), and sneakily whether the NIPT is available for those that need it via my NHS trust, but other than that my mind has gone totally blank!

I'm 9 weeks tomorrow, if that helps and they've already booked my dating scan for 11 weeks. I might ask if that's too early?

I can't even remember if I asked my midwife any questions at my booking appointment 😂 my first scan was booked for 12 weeks NHS and they measured me as a week too early so none of the screening tests for downs, edwards or pataus syndrome could be done so I had to go back 2 weeks later. Of course it's completely your choice if you want the combined screening test, not everyone does :)

I asked some questions about my diet (and whether I should make any adjustments), exercise regimen, what to expect over the next few months, birth location options in my area and we discussed a bit of my medical history.

A lot of the appointment was dedicated to them giving me information so even if you can’t think of anything specific that you would like to ask you’ll probably still find it informative :)

No need to sneakily ask anything! Just ask! My midwife surely thinks I'm neurotic all the things I've asked her but I'm pretty positive that comes with the job.

It's mainly to give you info, and get info about you for the system. A lot of form filling.

Also 12 week scan is fine between 11 and 14 weeks so hopefully your dates are right and it will be all good.
