Hi. I think calling your GP and INSISTING on doing a very through, complete blood count is the way to go. Trust your instincts.
In my first pregnancy, I started being extremely sick as early as 4 weeks and it never went away, I suffered the entire pregnancy. Extreme fatigue, general weakness, almost like I'm in a constant state of flu. It was brushed off the whole pregnancy, no doctor or midwife took me seriously because I wasn't vomiting. Even when I told them I'm forced to stop working and I'm losing income and struggling it wasn't taken seriously. It was absolute misery.
After delivery which was traumatic, I developed PTSD and it apparently triggered fibromyalgia.
Nowadays, I feel like the terrible feeling I had in pregnancy was maybe the beginning of fibro. Then PTSD exacerbated it.
Pushing for blood check, including hormones and vitamins, is the very least you can do. Many doctors sadly don't look past iron deficiency, if your iron turns out to be okay, you're forgotten.
