Anyone else had methotrexate for ectopic pregnancy?

Hi all

I had the methotrexate injection 9 days ago. My levels are falling well. I have a few questions for anyone who has been through the same.

I still have a lot of abdominal discomfort (not as specifically painful anymore but a lot of cramping and period type pain) - is this normal?

I have had diarrhoea for the last 4 days - is this normal?

Hospital didn't seem concerned about these things when I had my last blood test, but I was just wondering about experience of others. Everything I read says symptoms should be over within a few days of the injection. Feeling a bit 👎with it all...

I had methotrexate and it took 12 weeks to regain normality. I too had diarrhoea and was tired for a long time. If I remember correctly, it's a cancer drug so is strong and will inevitably make you feel like crap. I'm so sorry.
It will get easier.

Thanks so much for your reply. I was starting to worry as I kept reading other people had little to no symptoms at all. Should probably stop with the googling!
