I keep getting a sharpish pain and it feels like baby could be kicking somewhere sore! Could this be right as it definitely seems linked to the movement.

I’m 26 weeks, and I’ve been surprised by how uncomfortable the kicking can get!! I would assume that if it hit a nerve it could be painful? It’s my first, hopefully someone more experienced will be along to give better advice!

Also my first but I've been getting some painful kicks when she kicks straight downwards and towards my hip bone. They give ma bit of a shock but the pain isn't unbearable. I'm assuming normal but like I said I'm a first timer too.

I read that baby kicks have broken their mother's ribs in some cases.

They absolutely can hurt!

Thank you! I was surprised as thought baby only about 300 g at moment so just bigger than a pack of butter but maybe it’s quite a strong one!!
