Seven weeks and not really any symptoms?

Hi everyone! I am new here today and it's lovely to 'meet' you all!

My husband and I had been TTC for six months and on Nov 1st at 11dpo we got our BFP!

At first my nipples were extremely sore and I felt nauseous a few times a day but in the last week or so those symptoms have tapered off and I have had no more nausea and my boobs hardly hurt - the only symptom which is most definitely there is the exhaustion from about 7pm each day. I can't keep my eyes open past 8.30 at the moment!

Does anyone have any experience with this happening as I'm concerned I should be 'feeling more pregnant'. I'm a v anxious person by nature and these lack of symptoms are worrying me - especially as my midwife appt isn't until the 15th Dec and our private 10 week scan isn't until the 18th 😩

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Congratulations!

I wouldn't worry, everyone is different. Some women get horrible sickness, some never get anything.

I didn't have anything other than tiredness and sore boobs for first 7 weeks, then slight nausea week 8/9 and then week 10/11 all my symptoms disappeared, private scan all was fine. It's so easy to worry and get worked up but honestly, most of the time worrying is just stealing your happiness.

I'm sure everything is fine x

I was the same OP and I'm also an anxious person so the lack of symptoms made me extremely anxious. I'm sure I had mildly sore boobs til 7 weeks and then it went away, and I had a small amount of morning sickness but hardly any really, although my memory is already hazy about what (lack of) symptoms I had back then and I haven't even given birth yet!

I think the problem is that you only hear about the cases where women suffer a lot in the first trimester as the ones who don't really struggle you don't hear about so you don't realise how normal that is!

Good luck with everything! Flowers

I worried like you with the lack of symptoms and could t believe I was really pregnant (despite seeing a heartbeat at a 7 week private scan) until I went for my 12 week scan. I got nausea and constant headaches but not until around 8-9 weeks. Hard to do I know, but try to relax. (I say that whilst still getting anxious at various things at 23 weeks!)

I didn't even know i was pregnant til i was over 7 weeks as had no symptoms (I ovulated late so when my period was weird and light i took a pregnancy and it was negative turned out i was only about 3 weeks at that point). Felt completely great and that was with twins! Then it all hit me at about 9 weeks! Some people never get symptoms

With my daughter I had nothing except tiredness and it made me so anxious but all was fine! Im currently 8 weeks pregnant with DC2 and I don't really have any symptoms other than tiredness again! I did have nausea but that's gone now, so I'm super anxious but just got to remember that every pregnancy is different and trust our bodies! Congratulations on your pregnancy!
