I know some women get pg and know they are pg the day they concieve so where are you? I need to know you exist so I don't think I'm going mad! My LMP was on 29 Nov. Before I had my three children I used to ov on day 13 (there's been no chance for my cycles to settle between pregnancies so I don't know when I'm ovulating at the moment) I've been very familiar pregnancy symptoms (nausea, in other words!) from day 14, and it's getting worse too. I'm now on day 18 so am probably too early for a test to pick up the hormones, so I can't test. Am desperately excited so am wanting to know if I could be really feeling pregnancy symptoms or if I am going mad!

thanks

I always started feeling breathless right from the very beginning. Do you notice anything if you try to go for a walk or whatever?

What else apart from feeling ill? How are your Boobs? (Sorry if a bit Personal!) What about cramps at all? Are you doing silly things like putting your Purse in the Fridge? Do things smell odd?

I did not realise, despite having TTC for 2 years. I concieved just before Christmas 2 years ago and because I was so busy did not realise AF was late for nearly a week But looking back things had smelt funny iykwim? and 1 glass of wine made me rather tipsy, which is very unusual for me. I was a bit "dizzy" and burnt a few Dinners etc. (I still do that now!) I also had pre AF symptoms from about day 20 and did the whole going into the loo with Tampax in hand so many times, I am still really amazed I did not click sooner!

My mum always said she knew straightaway with both of us. First time round I had no symptoms till 6 or 7 weeks so thought she was just being a bit mad. This time, felt v. familiar pg symptoms (on and off) from a few days in - thought I was just being a bit mad, esp after initial BFN test, but sure enough got positive test a week later. (And a much more symptomatic first trimester generally.) So you might not be going mad. Terrible to have to wait to test though!!

oh this could be me... see my thread in conception topic.... first preg no symptoms till week6 or 7. second preg was from 3 weeks. this time? if i am preg and not mad or having hormonal problems then symptoms began after a few days... have dome tests, negative, will wait till about thurs or fri to retest as think af due then.... i feel very sick, lots of cramps... feel like i'm going mad. wasnt looking for symptoms as not ttc so how can it be in my head?

yellowbean · 19/12/2007 14:22

sorry, not clear, was the test positive or negative?

PoinsettiaBouquets · 19/12/2007 15:19

I went off my cigarettes from the day after I conceived! Started getting horrid taste and couldn't finish them, DH tried them and couldn't taste it. Started feeling queasy at 4wks+3.
Daisy26, if the test said positive you are pg! It's only negatives that can be misleading.

I noticed my symptoms with DD at around 6/7 weeks, didn't think for one minute I might be pg but did a test anyway and nearly fell through the floor with the shock of it.

Went on holiday in September this year and surprised DH because I didn't want to drink alcohol AT ALL (which is unheard of on holiday). Just really didn't fancy it. Was expecting AF at the start of that week and started to get annoyed when it didn't come by the end of the week. Anyway, we came home and had to go shopping for bread, milk that kind of thing. Walked past the tests and bought one, thinking it was just wishful thinking and as soon as I did it, af would arrive, but got it home, did it and again nearly fell through the floor when I realised I was pg with DC2! That was 17 weeks ago now.

Early symptoms included, apart from the non-drinking thing, sore boobs and crankiness (which are usual symptoms around the time af is due, so didn't think anything of it!)

flowerfairy · 19/12/2007 20:27

this is me now-sore boobs, had stomach cramps, butter fingers, nausea, funny taste, and af 14 days late. lmp 7th/8th nov, cycle about 30 days, tested on day 10 showed negative. don't know what to think, especially as some nights out planned and don't want to drink too much if am pg. am going to retest tomorrow and am not getting hopes up.wish me luck.

Hi
With my third child I conceived around day 7 (so.. about 2 days after i came off my period) and by day 18 I was convinced I was pregnant as had sore boobs, tiredness, metalic taste etc..... We had not been ttc but had taken a risk and I kept thinking its too early to tell this is crazy but gave in and took a test on day 26 ( i have a 28 day cycle) and it was positive!!!! I have never experenced anything like this before or since (have a forth ds now) but had to let you know that sometimes you really do get very obvious pregnancy symptoms even when your not suposed too.{grin}

flowerfairy · 20/12/2007 14:28

Just to let you kno, definitely not pg, repeated test-negative then af arrived mid morning. Oh well at least i can calculate best time for ttc next month. sorry to hijack btw

yellowbean · 20/12/2007 21:48
