Hi guys,

Just looking for some reassurance really. I'm currently about 7 weeks pregnant, but I'm only 6 months(ish) post partum where I had a planned c-section (type 1 diabetic).

We wanted babies close together, this will be our last if all goes well. However, we weren't going to start trying until next year. We were using condoms which I know aren't the best, but the pill caused me to have quite severe depression so I stopped taking it!

Have any of you got pregnant so soon after a C-Section and did you have any complications? I'll be having another C-Section anyway but just wondered how the pregnancy was for you. I'm also anxiously awaiting the slap on the wrist from the midwives at booking in appointment... 🙈

TIA x

I’m here now in the EXACTLY the same position basically shitting it.
how did it go for you? I really need some advice from this. 💕

@feliciaa I'm currently 32 weeks but honestly everything has been fine. No one has really said anything about how close the pregnancies are. My scar has also been fine so far, and I got BIG early on this time. I'm still planning another c-section which the obstetricians seem happy with - it gets rid of the risk of rupture during childbirth. Congratulations on the pregnancy! X

I am currently 34 weeks preggers with second baby girl, been a very normal pregnancy and no pain in my section scar at all. However I am already a little bit dialated and could go into labour anytime soon but drs aren't worried at all as baby is big and healthy 👍🏻 another thing... I have a section booked but drs says if I go into labour myself before they would suggest I try and do it naturally. It will fine 😊❤️ good luck to you!

@annamaria22 ☺️ thank you so much. You’re such a star for showing up for me. I needed that.

Im sending fairies your way to sprinkle good-fortune-dust all over you and your little ones. May you have a beautiful and happy delivery. 🧚‍♂️🧚🏾🧚🏾‍♀️

I got pregnant 7 months after a c section (baby was breech). I was worried too, however I had healed well so the consultant/midwife weren't concerned.

I ended up with another c section due to another breech baby, planned this time, and healed again with no issue. I have two neat scars and two beautiful babies. You'll be fine 💖

Not me, but a friend had two babies less than a year apart (second not planned!), having had a c-section the first time round. She was very strongly advised to have a second section (advice she took), but everything was fine otherwise.
