Is anybody else pregnant with a baby that just doesn't move? I went for my 20wk scan yesterday and baby was laid head down with its back to mine, the sonographer tried everything to get it to move but it just wouldn't budge! It had a very small wriggle which I felt but apart from that, nothing! Will it start to move more or is it just super chilled?!

Mine wouldn’t move, we went in and he had the biggest yawn and called it day. I went for walks, drank a can of coke, did jumping jacks all sorts and he wouldn’t budge. I had to go back for rescan. Now he moves all the time, I’m 34+2 and get no sleep because he’s always kicking me.

I've got to go back in a couple of weeks, planning on eating and drinking lots of sugary things. That probably won't help either! Reassuring to know you have a wriggler now!

25 weeks pregnant here. Mine never moves for scans. I didn’t feel movements until 20 weeks (very faint) but now she is very active but seems to be in the evenings so I guess the scans just weren’t done at her moving time?

@GoodVibesOnlyPlease we had our 20 week scan last Monday and ours was face down and back to us and she also refused to move for anything 🤣 sonographer was really shaking my belly to move her and got me up jumping about but nope. takes after her mum and doesn't like to be disturbed when she is sleeping.

Back on Monday for another scan to get the last few measurements. Was told to drink a very cold sugary drink 10 minutes before so hopefully she will behave this time 🤞

Yup I've got one of these too. 20 week scan was only half completed as baby had their head wedged firmly into my lower pelvis and was not moving for anything. Keeping everything crossed that they're a bit more co-operative tomorrow. Complete opposite of the 12 week scan where they were moving all over the place.

Very unlike their big sister, as well, who punched and kicked the probe whenever she could. She was such a determined wriggler I had to come back for a re-re-scan because she would not let the sonographer get a good look at her heart.

So glad to hear I'm not the only one! It just really surprised me because with my first he literally did not stop moving! To be fair he's still like that now 🙈
