Out of area midwife, electronic notes not updated.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and registered at a hospital in 1 council area, but live in a neighbouring council area. I was given the choice when booking in and was told patient choice was about 50/50, so didn’t think it would cause a problem.
I have the MyPregnancyNotes app, but nothing ever shows on there from my community midwife appointments, to the point where the hospital contacted me to ask why I haven’t been attending appointments, but I have!
Has anyone else had this issue? I don’t want to turn up to give birth at my chosen hospital and them to have no details about my pregnancy.
Can I request paper notes from my midwife appointments and ask her to backdate the details of appointments I have been to? The midwife I see always types information into the computer, but it never shows up on the app.
I didn’t realise my choice of hospital made things so awkward!

I’m in the same boat except we don’t have an app, I have a folder full of paper I carry around. I live the same distance away from two hospitals but prefer one, the community midwives are associated with the other. Everything is agg and no one communicates with the other. I’ve had to have multiple blood tests and travel 20 miles to the hospital to have them rather than to the outpatients unit 1 mile away 😠 if anything happens at the hospital the midwife has to phone them for results because no one is on the same system. But the GP seems to have an over view of everything, nothing makes any sense! The hospital also have their own set of paper notes that they update which is separate to the ones I have that the midwife does not update. Makes you wonder why they let you chose when it causes so much fuss
