Hi I’ve had my 12 week scan (actually showed as 13+1) and the lady said if I don’t hear anything after 2 weeks take it as the blood results should be all fine. But if there was a high risk result how long would it take for them to contact me do you think?

They normally contact within 5 days if they need to talk to you, but can vary from area to area.

I received my results letter within the week of my scan and blood tests, all were low risk. The sonographer also told me what the NT measurement was and the ranges they consider normal so already had an inkling that all would be fine :)

We don't get our blood results until the 16 week midwife appointment x

That’s what the nurse told me I will get results at 16 week appt, but if it was a high risk I’d be contacted before, but I just wondered how long before they would contact me if it was the case x
