Hey, guess im looking for reassurance, i found out i was pregnant with baby number 5 on Saturday, big shock, didn’t want anymore, my youngest are 6 (will be 7 by the time this one is born) so there were definitely thoughts of, do i want another baby? Can i have another baby? Etc etc, anyway yesterday morning (sorry if tmi) i wiped and got some pink discharge and immediately started crying (given my reaction im fairly certain i want to keep the baby)0 since then the pink has gone to red, still only when i wipe, to brown, back to red and then brown again, i know from previous pregnancies brown blood is nothing to worry about, and it’s mostly brown with a red wipe here n there, and i had a bit heavier red bleed about an hour ago but has now gone back to brown, i have never miscarried naturally (i had a missed miscarriage 7 years ago and had a D&C before any miscarriage symptoms), could i be miscarrying? Implantation bleeding? I am going to ring the doctor tomorrow if i am still spotting but i know from experience that even if i had a scan there probably wouldn’t be a heartbeat yet (im only about 5+2 weeks) which would only make me worry more anyone going through the same? xx

Absolutely gutted @SunDance21, physically, im fine, hardly any bleeding now, no cramping, but i just feel so defeated aand no idea where to go with this grief, normally i would throw all my upset into trying for another but now i just feel a bit lost xx

Hey, i need some help, really confused, so since Tuesday when the docs confirmed “that my bleeding was the start of miscarriage” i have had spotting- literally only a small bit on tissue twice and it was brown and now nothing, not even pink or brown blood? I read online that it can take weeks for your body to realise its no longer pregnant and actually miscarry, so does that mean the bleeding ive already had wasn’t my miscarriage and to expect the miscarriage to occur in a week/few weeks? Because since seeing the empty sac I haven’t had any bleeding at all really?? So confused xx

Hi guys
I always see my period every month on the 7th before my period last month that's November, I did pt and it was a faint line so I was so happy thinking I won't see my period the next day which is on 7th... But unfortunately I saw my period and I was surprised, it was light on like my normal period that is always heavy, the second day I was still bleeding then I started seeing clots(sorry please) I went to the hospital to do blood test. It was negative, they told me because it's a faint line and that I should come back in two weeks time, I went back in two weeks time and then I was still spotting, they did another blood test for me and it was positive, I was so happy but sad at the same time cuz I was still spotting so this week Tuesday I went to another hospital and I explained everything to the doctor then he said I will do scan to know if there is something there, they did scan for me but they couldn't see any trace of baby in there and the doctor requested for my blood, he did another blood test for me. It was positive, he then said I should come back in two weeks time to rescan again but before I left, I was given some drugs to take everyday and I was also given injections too.
Please has anyone experience this??

Hi @Bol222 it sounds like a pregnancy of unknown location. I do not personally have any experience of it, but my friend had an ectopic pregnancy this year. Did they give you any follow up advice?

Bol222 · 04/12/2021 10:05

@Sundance21 No... The doctor said I should come to the hospital in two weeks time... So then they can know what to do
