I was 12 days overdue with my first born and believe me I tried everything from walking miles to nipple stimulation and most things in between. Nothing worked and I was taken in to be induced. My waters went before they managed to do anything, so nature eventually took its course for me.
Each of my pregnancies followed the same pattern and by the time I got to number 4 I told everybody I was due a fortnight later than I was to try and stop the inevitable questions about whether anything was happening.
Sorry to be so unhelpful OP - rest up and enjoy however many days you’ve got left before your baby arrives. You are definitely on countdown now!!

With my firstborn I stuck Zumba on YouTube the night before, had a bath then went to bed. Woke up at 4AM contracting. Could of been complete coincidence though! With my following 4 I had to be induced!! Absolutely. Nothing. Worked. !! Xx

Ask if you can be booked in for a sweep in the next few days?

Meh2020 · 24/11/2021 22:55

I had two sweeps and a massive long walk the day before my planned induction. my waters broke at 5am (my induction appt was 8am). I was 10 days overdue and extremely grumpy.

headinthecloudsnow · 24/11/2021 22:56

Shag. Doggy style.

Worked a treat with both my DDs.

You're welcome Wink

If home treatments worked, nobody would need an induction.

I tried every home method known, and still ended up with two inductions. No harm in trying, but be prepared for any result . Good luck.
