Has anyone been pregnant whilst taking PTU ?
I am under a consultant who says it is safe to TTC and it was over active in may 20 prior to TTC ( we were just if it happens it happens ) but since TTC he swapped me from carbizimole which isn't safe for pregnancy to PTU which is. It has been stable since jan 21 with the help of PTU and I've told my GP and consultant who said they will ' keep an eye '
I do have monthly bloods anyway and it's been stable for ages
I was trying to be weaned off the meds where my thyroid is now level but as I did ivf I'm still on 50mg a day reduced from 100 so not a high dose
