Hi all, I am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant and recently I have had shooting pains in my V at night i have had some cramp like feelings but very dull from the start of finding out I was pregnant. is this normal? I have no bleeding or anything and it seems to only happen at night when I am lying down, last night I woke up with a dull shooting pain and feels kind of like dull ache you get when on your period down there?

Hi, I’ve experienced the same! I’m 6 weeks and I get cramps pretty much every night when I get into bed and it woke me up last night as it was quite painful. I’ve found it’s worse when I need a wee and will start to ease when I’ve emptied my bladder. I’m thinking it may be down to how I’m lying down. I don’t believe it’s anything to worry about..I’ve read it’s the uterus growing and stretching 🙂

Thank you so much for replying have some reasurance it has stopped abit and just aches sometimes. I had a tiny amount of spotting the day after my period was supposed to be due that just lasted afew hours... and i am 4wks and 6 days last night i wiped and had pink on my tissue (sorry tmi) noting on my liner but im freaking out again. I was told that it's only something to worry about if it gets very heavy so hoping its normal. Such a long wait to go through 😱
