anything you are looking for specifically?

Tinker · 14/11/2004 14:07

Anything really. Tops (fitted rather than baggy), trousers, skirts. Need stuff for work but can get away without "work" stuff. Don't want to get too much but am getting to the fat, current clothes getting uncomfortable stage.

i'm lusting after harry duley & isabella oliver stuff, though i had a look on ebay & there didn't seem to be any of either. hennes do nice stuff, & also topshop.

hi Tinker, I started a thread not long agao asking exactly the same question. Maybe have a search for it. On Mumsnetter's advice I went to Cache Cache for 3 classic good pieces (trousers, skirt and dressy top), Hennes for some great fitted tops which were very good value and then Top Shop's new maternity range where I got a great denim skirt (just below kneee, bit flared/A line) and another dressier top to wear with the skirt and trousers from Cache Cache.

One new thing I bought for this pregnany that I now regret is some maternity jeans from next. Theyr're not the pouch style and I thought they would be easier to wear with tops that didn't quite cover the pouch on my old jeans but they are the most uncomfortable pair of trousers ever.

Here are some links, you can have a look at the ranges and then could use the names to search eBay if you want.

Blooming Marvellous
JoJo Maman Bebe
Harry Duley
Next
Mothercare

Formes are good but pricey.

Not sure which to recommend because most of my maternity stuff was purchsed a few years ago. For trousers, I preferred JoJo and for tops, Blooming Marvellous and Next.

Pumpkin Patch do a small range of some funky different stuff. I got a brown suedeish skirt from there which I like wearing now!

There's also a place near Oxford (but sell on-line) that is a second hand maternity clothes agency, you can search for stuff by sizes etc. Can't remember the URL but maybe someone else will.

here, but don't know what they're like to buy from, found it too late.
