And no it's not covid!! I had it a few months ago and daily lf tests now are negative

Constant I mean literally constant dry tickly cough, keeping me up, my husband up, the world up. Occasionally I'll hack up some yellow phlegm but mainly clear.

It's like a permanent hellish tickle at the back of my throat.

My ribs and bump hurt from it. I'm super moany. What the hell can I take in pregnancy? I've done honey and lemon to death.

Man I need some sleep. 25+5

Sounds like a chest infection…maybe viral though. Had it a few weeks ago. Felt rough for about two to three weeks. You been to the docs? whooping cough? You had your WC vaccine? Hope you feel better soon. Strepsils are helpful but only provide temporary relief and hot toddies are out given alcohol…. Sorry can’t be more helpful x

Warm steamy atmosphere?

If cough is worse at night - keep the heating on. (Everyone else will need summer quilts - but it can really help and I think it speeds up recovery.)

Gargelling with warm salty water?

I actually had a nasty cough all throughout my pregnancy.

I remember a few days after giving birth, I suddenly realised I had stopped coughing.

I'd lay off the lemon & up the anti acids. It could be reflux. I did end up with an upper respiratory thing during pregnancy and it all got much better when I stopped my super healthy smoothies as they were too acidic.
