Morning sickness - feeling terrible :(

I’m 7 weeks pregnant and feeling horrendous. It’s my second pregnancy and I thought morning sickness last time was bad, this is so much worse. I wasn’t having any symptoms until a few days ago, and my boobs haven’t changed at all like last time so I was actually WANTING symptoms to know everything was normal. Now I can’t wait for them to end. I feel sick constantly, just woke up at 5.30 (2 hours before I normally get up) feeling sick. Often I also get fatigue and pounding head which triggers sickness and aches throughout my body. Living off very plain food and now just ginger nut biscuits and crackers. So happy to be pregnant but feeling very low. Dont want to tell work because I’ve already had a few days off or worked from home because I’ve caught nasty bugs from my daughters nursery. Supposed to be going on holiday on Thursday for something that’s been booked for 18 months but I’m dreading the 4 hour car journey. It’s only been a few days so far but I don’t know how I’m going to manage if it’s like this for the next week/s, it’s unbearable 🙁

Hi OP, so sorry you're feeling low. Morningsickness is awful Sad

In relation to your car journey - go to the GP or pharmacy and tell them you're pregnant and need suitable travel sickness tablets. They do exist! I went on a short ferry journey when I was pregnant at 3 months in and the tablets worked a treat. I didn't feel fantastic, but I felt able to get through it and I didn't puke.

See your GP for anti sickness medication. There are plenty of different ones out there so if the first one doesn't work, try a different one. You don't need to stay feeling this way.
