37+ with stabbing pains? Could it be the start of labour?

Hi ,

I'm 37+3 and I've been having braxton hicks for all week or so.
But last night I started getting stabbing pains in my ribs, side and stomach.
I feel sick and just not right and I've lost my appetite.

I've called the midwife who this my pains sound muscular and feeling off could be me coming down with something?

Has anyone experienced feeling like this or am i reading too much into normal pregnancy symptoms?

Hi Sparkles, I didn’t have the stabbing pain but I did have the sickness and lack of appetite the few days before I gave birth so it could be the start of something. All the best 😊

I'm 38 weeks today, still not feeling myself and not really wanting food which is unlike me.

Fingers crossed its the start of something 🤞
