Dry Eye in pregnancy

I went for my biannual eye test yesterday. I have a history that needs regular checks.
The optom said she could see I have dry eyes and as I am pregnant, they can't reccomend any drops but I should look into them. (Not helpful, but completely understandable) In the mean time to try hot compresses a couple of times a day. Easier said than done but not impossible.
I will be visiting my pharmacy to get advice but has anyone here been reccomended eye drops in pregnancy?

Hi @Willow1981 I was told to use Hycosan Night ointment - like a gel you put in before you sleep. And the heat mask twice a day. And regular drops - any - was told all were safe.
