Low placenta signs

My placenta was low at the 20 weeks scan (abutting os), and while I know it will probably move up, I am a bit concerned. My iron levels keep getting lower even though my base levels are apparently OK and I have been taking 2 iron tablets a day since booking in bloods were done. I also lost a lot of blood at first birth and it's just a stressful thought that it might happen again...

Got to wait until 7th December I think for a placental scan to check if its moved, I will be 32 weeks then.

Does anyone else have experience of this that you want to share? Could you tell if it had moved or not? I haven't had any bleeding but feel like the baby is very low based on where I am feeling movements... But then I wonder if I can feel lots of baby punches in my lady bits/arse area then maybe the placenta has moved otherwise it would soften the blow surely 😅😬

I'm afraid I can't help but I am in the same position as you. My scan is on the 15th Dec to see if it has moved. I only ever feel movement in (what feels like) my hips and now and again up high. I too have been wondering if the placenta is still cushioning the other movements. I'm constantly panicking that something is up as do not feel him very often at all. I would be interested to hear anyone else's experience.

Sorry to hear you're in the same boat and also worrying @mamaux

Is your placenta at the front or back? I didn't feel much movement in my first pregnancy when it was at the front. Mine is at the back this time though.

Hope all goes well at your scan. Seems like forever to wait doesn't it?
