Resting heart rate second trimester

I know there are lots of threads about rhr around conception, but I can't find anything about later in pregnancy. I’m 14 weeks today, had a scan on Thursday where everything looked great, but my rhr has dropped three bpm in the last two days. Is this just my body adjusting to the extra blood flow, or could it be a sign that something is wrong?

I’ve had three first trimester miscarriages so I'm pretty anxious as it is!

I would advise to stop checking it! I had two early losses and noticed that my RHR dropped around the same time I miscarried. Then the same thing happened in this pregnancy, RHR dropped to pre-pregnancy levels around 8 weeks and stayed there for a couple of weeks. I'm now 14 weeks and in the past two weeks it has gone up again, so the earlier dip was just a coincidence and nothing to do with how the pregnancy was progressing. Just something that happens when our bodies are trying to work out how to do this.

@GinnyBee the problem is, I’ve noticed the drop now, so I can't ignore it! I know a lot of people notice a drop earlier in the first trimester but mine has been rising steadily throughout so I’m worried that a drop at this stage is bad news :(

If you didn't have the drop earlier then you're probably just having it now. Try to relax. Nothing has happened until something happens. :)

I know you're right that I need to try to relax but my logical brain can't override my anxious one. I hate how uncertain everything is!
