Hi all, I’m 31 weeks pregnant and my 3 year old dd has just come down with covid. She’s really not well with it and has spent the last two days practically surgically attached to me. I’d be frankly gobsmacked if I haven’t contracted it off her!

How worried do I need to be? I’m double vaccinated but only received my second jab four weeks ago. I can’t isolate from her. She’s severely autistic and non verbal and won’t understand why I’m suddenly not there to comfort her.

You're in the best place to avoid it, having a four week old second jab. You might catch it but you might not.

You might be ok. I had had Astra Zeneca 6 months prior to my 4 year old getting Covid- so supposedly my immunity was waning- and she coughed all over me, slept in same bed etc and I never got it.

I’m pregnant and haven’t caught it from DS who have been very close to . We keep windows open and I don’t want to push him away or make him wear a face mask but for example I read his bedtime story from a chair across the room as he hasn’t noticed or minded . It’s been 5 days now and the rest of us still negative and he’s testing negative again now but obviously still isolating

I got the Covid 2 weeks ago when I was 31 weeks (double vaccinated). My symptoms were mild, a bit of coughing and runny nose. The lost of taste and smell was the worst part, but thankfully started to come back a week later.
My husband didn't get it, and we were not isolated or careful at all ( I was already on day 4 symptoms when I tested positive; I thought I had a cold. So we were like oh well he's propably gonna get it anyways). So there is a big chance you won't as you also double vaccinated.
