38 weeks ...signs baby is breech

I’m 38 weeks pregnant and for the past few days baby has been moving a lot...big, painful, squirmy movements keeping me up at night and periods of painful downwards / vagina kicks (or punches?!). I don’t remember this with my first baby who was head down....at my last appointment they said baby was head down though. I just feel something is amiss..bump feels very uncomfortable and baby squirming loads at night like she can’t get comfortable and she hasn’t been very active all the way through. The downwards jabs could be arms or even head pushing down I guess...but it feels very much as though a foot is going to come out! I have 38 week app in couple of days but just wondered if anyone else could tell me their signs?

I'm 30 weeks and have this, but I know my baby is still breech.

My baby turned breech at 36 weeks. I had an extremely clear head in my ribs! He went head down again by 37 weeks.

Your midwife will be able to check the position at your next appointment, they can feel it from the outside.

Spinning babies is a website that has a technique for mapping kicks, it never worked for me though I couldn't work out what it was on about.

When he was head down I could feel his legs very clearly as the strongest kicks, up and to the side.
