Can you put in your birth plan that you would prefer your birthing partner to stay at the top of the bed, so they don't see what is going on down there, maybe a still question but I'm just curious

I'm sure you can, although I'm not sure that the midwives will be monitoring your birthing partner to enforce that they stay at the top? Can you just have a conversation with your partner and tell them what you want them to do on the day?

You can write what ever you want in your birth plan!
I found that I needed my birth partner to advocate my plan for me! So I'm sure your partner would respect your wishes!
However just to reassure you I wouldn't of noticed/cared if the whole hospital came and had a look!!!
