Bleeding during pregnancy

Yesterday I was bleeding heavy bright red blood I am 5 weeks and 6 days. They sent me for a scan and could see the sac (which looked healthy) but no bleeding during the vagina ultrasound! My boobs are not sore anymore and the bleeding has turned to minimal and has gone brown now but only a tiny bit.. I have to go back next week for a scan again to see if there is a heart beat ect…

I’m so worried has anyone else had this and had a healthy pregnancy?

Hi Jess, try not to worry. I had bleeding during my pregnancy around about the 5/7 week mark on & off. In the end the pregnancy was fine and I had no need to worry stay positive!!! Hope both you and bump stay well x

I had bleeding too op, also in week 5.
3 year old running riot.
A lot of things can cause a bleed, irritated cervix etc.

If they found no cause for the bleeding then it may just be one of those things (my friend bled every month whilst preg)

Fingers crossed for next week

I had bleeding at 5 weeks (actually thought it was my period) then at 7 weeks. No idea why but after that no more bleeding and a straightforward healthy pregnancy so I hope it’s the same for you

Hi, I’m just over 7 weeks and had cramp and bleeding a few days ago. The scan looked normal but I’ve also to go back next week. I’ve started taking heavier cramp and bleeding tonight and I’m so upset. I have seen that it can be normal at this stage and other people have experienced this also so I’m trying to stay as positive as possible. I hope you are ok xx

Hi I bled every month up till 5 months in my pregnancy 12 years ago. I couldn’t relax all the way through till I had my son. I had scans throughout and couldn’t pin point the cause. I’d had two prior miscarriages before.

I bled a lot in my 3rd pregnancy. Had numerous haematomas and needed fortnightly scans to measure them and baby. Bleeding stopped around 20 weeks but Co tinned with scans and dd is now 3. I'm pregnant with no4 and bled at 6 and 9 weeks and I'm now 10 weeks. Looks like it may be similar ride as previous pregnancy as they found a small haematoma on this scan last week. Makes it stressful, especially before you can feel them moving but doesn't always end badly. Sending love ❤

When I was 5/6 weeks I had a really heavy bleed. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time, and I actually texted my partner to say that I was having a really bad period that month. I found out about a week later that I was pregnant. I had a scan and everything looked perfect, same as you!
My little boy is now 16 months old and he's just so perfect 💙

Hi Moms, I am 8 weeks 3 days pregnant now.
I was seeing very light spotting up until week 7. But in week 8 I started seeing bright bleeding and it kept increasing in the past 3 days. The thickness of the blood also seems to be increasing. I mostly see it when I wipe after a pee. I am also seeing occasional small
blood clots when I pee. I am wearing a pad since yesterday but not much comes onto the pad, it looks like a light period on the pad. I didn’t have cramps last 2 days but I had very light cramps on and off today but nothing drastic. I have an ultrasound day after tomorrow. They tell me it’s fine as long as I don’t soak 2 pads in an hour. I am too nervous and disappointed. Not sure how to keep positive. If someone else had a similar experience please let me know? Trying to hope everything is still fine. Praying too…

I bled at 8 weeks and 10 weeks. At 8 weeks it was like a period, but lasting only a day or 2. At 10 weeks I was asleep and woke up to a gushing feeling.. looked down to find a puddle of blood. Now 31 weeks and they've no idea why I had that.

Also, I had brown discharge throughout the whole first trimester.

I am 4 - 5 weeks (yes very early ) had my hcg taken its 36 - had a transvag ultra sound yesterday but we couldn’t see anything they said. Might just be to early. I’ve had three mc before so my dr just wanted to make sure I’m okay since I was having intense cramps last week . We’ll today I started bleeding and passing clots - I’m tears and trying to stay positive going to see if I can go in today to do another hcg test but I’m literally numb … I just wanna go to sleep and wake up and know my baby (or little dot) is okay … anyone else have bleeding like this
