Changing hospitals during antenatal

Hi

I am currently with one hospital. I self referred myself and had my 12 week scan + blood tests done here. I've been at my first midwife appointment.

However I was too silly that I didn't check whether the hospital is in a congestion area plus high parking fees. I cannot constantly pay this.

Now i have self referred myself to another hospital at 15 weeks, this one isn't in a congestion area.

I've spoken to the hospital that I would like to change to, and she said that I have to redo my blood tests and I hate that idea as I've given enough blood to my other hospital. Will they make me do another set of bloods, even though they'll get information from my previous hospital?

Has anybody gone through this?

It depends on hospital policy. I am between two hospitals too, as we’ve moved house - mine also said they'd repeat bloods but not scans. In the end we’ve just moved and I’m a few weeks from giving birth so I’ve stuck with the original.

I moved hospital at around 28 weeks and they did have to redo bloods. It was really quick and I was in and out in 10 minutes (not like the hospital I was at before!)

My hospital did redo bloods but scans just transferred from the previous hospital.
