Hi all, I’m currently about 5 weeks pregnant. I suffer with quite bad anxiety and have found this is making my pregnancy really difficult to enjoy! Every twinge, dizzy spell, new feeling etc makes me think something bad is happening! All I keep thinking is that I’m going to miscarry, it’s ridiculous. Does anyone have any tips to help me relax? I’m fed up of googling every little symptom. Thanks

I was exactly the same when I found out I was pregnant with the first! I would constantly look at the toilet roll after having a wee to make sure there wasn't any blood and every little symptom I'd google and panic! Google can be really reassuring as I found out a lot of things are completely normal, but at the same time it can be the worse thing to do! The first part of my pregnancy I worried so much I used to end up throwing up with working myself up so much!

No advice as such, but just wanted to say it does get easier and less worrying the further on you get. I ended up booking an 8 week scan for reassurance and it helped so much! After my 12 week scan I relaxed even more! Once you start feeling the kicks, it's constant reassurance 😍

I've just found out i'm pregnant again after 8 months of trying and I feel far more relaxed this time around so far compared to last time! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
