Mole removed with local when pregnant

Hi has anyone had a mole removed using local anaesthetic while pregnant? After years of asking I’ve finally been told they think the mole should be removed. I asked the dermatologist if it’s safe to have local anaesthetic when pregnant and she replied “it should be”, I hate it when health professionals use this term and say “it’s your choice”. I just want them to tell me if it is safe to have local anaesthetic when pregnant or not. Has anyone had a mole removed in pregnancy and the anaesthetic has had no effects what so ever on the baby. The other option was to wait until baby was born and have the procedure when breastfeeding. But then I was concerned the anaesthetic could get into my milk especially with the mole being located where my bra strap is. Or I could just wait and have it taken off in a few years.

Why wouldn't it be safe? It's just local anaesthetic.

I had a skin tag removed while pregnant and all was fine.

www.nhs.uk/conditions/local-anaesthesia/
No mention of pregnancy there except for using it during delivery.

Don't wait! If they say it should be removed it definitely should! Don't want to scare you, but if it's something bad like a melanoma, it can spread in months.( I had melanoma and I also considered to wait. If I did I won't be here now).
I also hate when the doctors don't give you a straight answer, how can it be your choice when you don't have a medical degree and you are also responsible for a baby? But if it was unsafe they would of told you, as far as I know they use local anaesthetic on pregnant women all the time.

My dentist considered taking one of my wisdom teeth out last month, in the end she didn’t but she assured me it wouldn’t be of any harm to the baby with a local and that wasn’t even for something as potentially serious as a dodgy mole 🤷🏻‍♀️
