Cervical ectropian

I’ve been diagnosed with a cervical ectropian which the hospital suspect is the cause of the bleeding I am experiencing in my current pregnancy. Can anyone advise if they have had this before and if so did they bleed as a one off or did it continue throughout the pregnancy?

Thanks

I think I had this at the start of my pregnancy, the midwife confirmed but only via my talking about symptoms etc, she didn't look. The bleeding only happened from about week 14 to week 16/17 and I haven't had anything since, 26+5 today.

I have this, I bled anytime I attempted intercourse, so we chose to abstain in the end, this wasn't the only reason though, I had a weak cervix so the choice to abstain was also related to that. I had silver nitrate put on it post pregnancy which helped for a while, and then had it done again a couple of years later, however it has started to bleed again, accepting that it's always going to be there

I was diagnosed with this at 16+4 and am currently 22+2. I’ve had red-tinged discharge and brown discharge on and off the past couple of weeks and yesterday I actually had a short bright red bleed. I call the midwives and without knowing I was diagnosed at 16+4 (I was away on holiday when it got investigated) they didn’t sound concerned and said it was probably from the cervix and to just monitor and call back if it got heavier. I suspect I’ll probably still get the odd bleed.
