Pregnancy psychic reading

Hey,

So I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant with a baby girl after a previous loss. I thought it would be a good idea to get a reading, my question to this particular psychic was 'Will our baby girl be healthy' to which her response was 'I see some pregnancy trouble but should be fine finally' and she said 'yes' to our baby being healthy.

I am regretting getting a reading. Without paying her £45 she won't go into any further detail. I'm worrying massively now! Why did I bother 😞

Anyone else had this? I know she's said the end result would be a healthy baby but the 'pregnancy troubles' part has worried me!

Thanks

Well what pregnancy is trouble free?!

She’s conned you OP. She’s trying to con you some more.

MrsMarrioo · 16/11/2021 15:55

That's very true! I'm just trying to concentrate on the fact she said the end result is a healthy baby. Just fried my brain and now I can't stop panicking! I really wish I'd never bothered. Luckily, I only paid £15, could have paid a lot more!

Honestly, I had one of these.
I was told healthy pregnancy, no issues and a baby girl.

Turns out baby is a boy (I’m over the moon)
I have gestational diabetes and inject with clexane, polyhydrominos & a breech baby! It’s a con & I wouldn’t waste money on it. Nobody can predict how your pregnancy will go x

MrsMarrioo · 16/11/2021 18:40

Thank you. Definitely a waste of money I know! I just really wish I hadn't had the reading as my mind is going into overdrive after what she said!x

These psychics are a scam. They reel you in with vague lines, so that you pay more and more as you become increasingly worried. Ask yourself: what kind of person would say things like "pregnancy troubles" to someone and then refuse to say more unless they pay? The answer is: a rather shitty person lacking in empathy.

Trust your clinicians - your midwives, doctors, etc. - and don't put any stock in what this so-called psychic has said.

Mousetown · 16/11/2021 18:53

All psychics are scam artists. They prey on vulnerable people to try get your money. They are scum. They are just as bad as the people who trick you into handing over your bank details by pretending to be your bank. Please don’t pay any attention to what this person said.

MrsMarrioo · 16/11/2021 19:28

Thank you everyone. I was just so annoyed when she wouldn't elaborate and if I wanted her to do I had to buy the full package.

Wish I'd never bothered! I know it's only £15 but still.

Just her way of making more money out of you, intrigues you to want to know more. £15 is a lot of money to be fed something that isn’t true.
Definitely don’t take anything from what she has said to heart and enjoy your pregnancy x

aConcernedPrude · 16/11/2021 19:49

Without paying her £45 she won't go into any further detail.

Repulsive woman. Really shameful to worry someone like that then try to make money off the back of it!

HermioneWeasley · 16/11/2021 19:49

She’s scum preying on vulnerable people

It’s pure, weapons grade bollocks. Don’t give any of her guff another moment’s thought

GinnyBee · 16/11/2021 20:47

Don't pay any attention to what she said! They consciously recite the most generic, most likely crap that when it inevitably happens (I mean, pregnancy trouble, that's like forecasting rain in the UK in the autumn months) people will think there's something in it and go back for more.

MrsMarrioo · 16/11/2021 21:43

Yep!

Lesson learnt 😒 when I replied to her saying 'what pregnancy issues' I got the response that I'd need to buy the full package because the health of a pregnancy and the health of a baby alongside maintaining a pregnancy is totally different.

It's just played on my mind since! Really kicking myself for bothering with it.

Thank you x

Definitely look to more meaningful places for reassurance , this is extremely dodgy territory and worthless! Hopefully you’ll have learnt that from reactions on this thread alone and do talk to Medical professionals if worried not this empty nonsense which is preying on your anxiety.
