I'm in my third trimester and really struggling with waking up, I will be absolutely exhausted and go sleep at 10pm but I wake about 5 times in the night and stay awake for at least half an hour each time. Last night I woke at 1am and didn't go sleep until nearly 4am, I'm finding when I wake also I have horrible hip pain or back pain. I try to sleep in the day but I find I can never actually drop off which is weird because in the first trimester I was sleeping for 4+ hours in the day and then sleeping 10+ hours at night.

Is it only going to get worse from now???

Errrrr....wish I could say something comforting but I can't. I didnt sleep from about 34 weeks on. Hip pain kept me up and made turning over impossible.

Have you got a pregnancy pillow? That helped. Also a warm bath before bed to relax you as much as possible.
Sounds strange but I slept much better once baby was here, was still up to feed him but when I slept it was a deep sleep.

This is me now at 33wks I’m barely sleeping. My DH leaves at 5am and it’s like ‘great’ I can stop pretending to sleep so I won’t disturb him. I’m not sleeping during the days either. I go to sleet tired and I wake up tired.

I'm the same, yet my partner sleep talks so likes to have conversations with me, he then wakes up and has no memory

Sorry to say but I turned nocturnal in third trimester.
I was doing all sorts through the night.
You need the darkest room and put some white noise on.

I've got a pregnancy pillow but I always accidentally kick it off the bed and love to have a bath it really relaxes me wish I could sleep in a hot bath!
