Currently 9 weeks pregnant with second baby and scales say I've gained 10lbs already! I've been eating slightly more than usual but not huge amounts and not loads of rubbish-maybe just an extra snack and bowl of cereal per day! I'm assuming some of it is water weight but my waistline is so much bigger that I'm struggling with clothes! They all feel tight and uncomfortable. Had to go up into the loft today to get all my maternity clothes out otherwise I'll be living in leggings!

Anyone else!? X

Yes me. About the same for both pregnancies. While I didn't get morning sickness I did feel quite odd and I tried to medicate with food. Mostly crunchy nut cornflakes ☺ it slowed down 2nd trimester because I was shocked at how much I had gained. I also stared out a little overweight anyway. I think in the end I gained 3stone in each pregnancy. Still working on losing the last one. Younger dc is nearly 2!

Thanks @Luckydog7! Did you try and 'diet' in the second trimester? I remember putting on 7lbs in the first 12 weeks last time but that made sense as I was eating huge amounts of food! I gained 4 stone total but it came off easily but that was a good few years ago! Xxx

Sorry! yes i can't have them in the house now!

Yes i did diet, well eat sensibly AKA normally in second trimester but did try to stay away from simple carbs and sugar as they are a real trigger. ate a fuck tonne of chocolate though as i convinced myself it was heathy, good fat, fibre and dairy dontchaknow.

@Luckydog7 😂

I wouldn't mind if I was stuffing my face with Pringles and chocolate like last time but this time I'm really not! Makes me think I might as bloody well! X

I've put on about 5kg. Feel too rubbish and tired to go to the gym and be as active as I used to, but not rubbish enough to stop eating! I'm 14 weeks now and seem to have found a bit of a balance and got my portion sizes under control. Going from having three proper meals and no snacks to grazing through the day has been an adjustment!

I gained loads in first trimester. I hate like a horse to keep nausea at bay. Im now 24+3 and gained 15lbs as hunger has returned to normal. I use this to track which helps www.calculator.net/pregnancy-weight-gain-calculator.html

Ate!

I went from 56kg to 65kg in my first trimester. Since then I’ve put another 10kg on in the second and third trimester. I was so hungry and just ate everything in sight, but this slowed down and I’ve hardly had an appetite since.

Thanks @GinnyBee and @toadstool32! I'm the same with exercise-done NOTHING because any kind of motion (even walking!) makes me want to vomit!!!!! X
