Leaking

Hi ladies, bit of TMI but I'm worried I worry a lot anyway and don't want to call the doctors just yet as I don't want them feeling like I'm being silly! Basically these past couple of days I've been feeling as if I'm leaking down there.. it's like normal discharge but sometimes my underwear is a little bit wet, but it feels like I'm leaking I'll go to the toilet and everything seems ok? Sometimes when I go for a wee it feels like it just keeps coming out even if I've finished🤦🏼‍♂️ im almost 18 weeks on Thursday and think im just being paranoid but has this happened to any other moms to be and they are absolute stress heads like me?🤦🏼‍♂️

I have similar, I'm 26 weeks and feel like I'm 'leaking' and actually have been worried that I'm becoming incontinent but it's always just been discharge, just more than I'm used to so the sensation feels different I guess.

You should speak to your midwife on case it is your waters leaking, they can test it for you. I'm sure it isn't and I'm not trying to worry you, but at least if you speak to triage hopefully they'll be able to reassure you!

Hi, i had the same at 18 weeks which was just last week actually.

The midwife didn't think i was far along enough for it to be urine, although i really thought it was. If it was urine then i would be referred for pelvic floor physio. The biggest concern was it if it was amniotic fluid. After speaking to triage i had to lay on my left side for an hour with a pad on and then get up and check it. If it was wet then i was to go straight to triage. I haven't had wet underwear since and i've been urinating a lot less so i think the baby was possibly lying in a funny position
