Me! I had hyperemesis so it never fully went without medication. But 3rd trimester brought back the awful vomiting for a while.
Midwife told me its due to baby having growth spurts and a surge or hormones, a bit like the first trimester again.
I did find mine was also closely related to severe reflux so now im on Omeprazole ive been heaps better.

Are you okay otherwise? Still feeling baby move, no dizziness, weight loss etc?
It is likely due to more hormones and the growing baby, they'll be putting more pressure on your stomach now. But do contact your midwife if you have severe vomiting or any other concerning symptoms.

Yup, checked up my dinner more than once. There's less room for your organs as the baby gets bigger so everything gets squashed. Try eating/drinking little and often.

Totally normal. You’re running out of stomach space

Redannie118 · 14/11/2021 14:58

I never had morning sickness in the first trimester for both pregnancies but had it really badly in the last trimester. Babies were fine and midwife wasnt worried, says its pretty normal.

Same as pp with all three pregnancies I never had morning sickness in first trimester but I'm 34 weeks now and every night for past week I've been sick. Was same with first pregnancy. I've put it down to bad reflux which again was horrid in first pregnancy

Toddleberry · 14/11/2021 16:25

I was the same as @Redannie118 - no morning sickness in the first trimester but really really sick in the third. No other issues, think it was a combination of hormones and baby pushing up on stomach

thank you everyone - this is really helpful! i don't think i've ever had lower appetite in my life..
