I'm due in 1 week!

Anything I need to do/stock up on last minute before the baby arrives?

Batch cook and a big shop to stock up on non-perishable things.
Make sure things like car insurance and other life admin needing done in the next month are sorted.

Meals for your freezer, tea bags, one of those insulated cups for your hot drinks, nappies, wipes, maternity pads, snacks for your hospital bag, paracetamol, your hospital bag and notes to hand…

Birthday presents and cards for any close friends/family in the next few weeks

Stuff your bedside drawer full of snacks and stuff like hair bands, lip balm - especially if you plan on breastfeeding. Have a box by the sofa or wherever you'll be feeding baby downstairs with the same stuff in it and perhaps some magazines.

All the above.
A long cable phone charger may be handy on postnatal ward.
And read a book, just because you still can 😊

Sleep as much as you possibley can. Lie down with feet up as much as you can.

Batch cooking, colostrum harvesting and freezing, spring clean, lots of nice baths, lovely lay ins, trip to the cinema, perineal massage, stock up on nice foods, buy everyone's bday cards and presents for next 6 months, fresh stack of books to read, decent concealer (Charlotte tillbury), new coffee machine or coffee subscription, hair cut, toenails painted, pregnancy massage. Enjoy!!

BridgetGetTheGin · 13/11/2021 16:38

Love this - thank you 👏🏼

Sleep!
Honestly, just relax as much as you can. Have lots of naps and long baths. Read books. Pamper yourself. You won’t have any time to yourself for a while, so really savour it now.
