Help! Bleeding after sex- 5 weeks

Has anyone experienced this ?

I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Had sex with DP this morning, it was me on top so for me that's quite deep penetrative (sorry TMI). I've looked online a bit and some others have said it's due to changes in cervix? I'm hoping so x

Yes my partner and I experienced this as well. There would be bleeding even when it wasn't deep penetration, presumably for orgasms.

Didn't harm the fetus, so I wouldn't stress unless flow gets heavy and there's painful cramps associated. Good luck

Yes I experienced this at 6 weeks and then again at 7. At my early scan I was diagnosed with a subchronic hematoma. Seems to have cleared up now and don't get the bleeding/spotting any more. Guessing that's what was causing it!

I've had no cramps and no more blood

I had this in my first pregnancy around 14 weeks. Went away in a couple days

Yup, had this around the same time and it continued until about 12 weeks when I decided we weren't going to have sex any more in pregnancy because it was too stressful for me. 33 weeks on Monday and poor husband can hardly wait for my 6 week check up already!!! Doctor said it was very normal and common but it is very distressing when it's also listed as basically the number 1 miscarriage symptom as well.

Yes in the first trimester this happened a couple of times and was scary. I was scanned at epu and baby was fine - they never found a cause for it. I assume it was my cervix bleeding but it looked fine on examination. I'm now 30 weeks and hasn't happened again since about 14 weeks.

The blood seemed quite a lot and was a dark red (not brown or pink) so was very worried. It hasn't continued and I've had no cramps x

Hi , this is my first pregnancy and I am 5 weeks pregnant I had sex with my partner and afyer sex I discovered I was bleeding ,color is red and bringing out clot. Went to hospital and I was told to keep monitoring if it will stop immediately I got back home I discovered the bleeding has stopped . But I am still scared for my pregnancy test came out positive but I was told my pregnancy hormones was low. Please what might be the cause thanks
