Hi!
I’ve never posted here before but I’m confused and looking for answers! I thought I was about 6 and a half weeks pregnant. I had a urine tests done at the doctor confirming pregnancy. I went in for an ultrasound yesterday and the doctor was concerned. My gestational sack was very small and there was no visible embryo. She ordered blood tests to measure my HCG and said that if my levels were around 200-300, she thought I was either earlier than we thought or I was miscarrying but if my levels were over 2000, it was likely an ectopic pregnancy. My results came back yesterday and my HCG was 4,000 and my doctor called and had me to go to ER for a sonogram where the determined it was not an ectopic pregnancy. The specialist said that I was either miscarrying or too early but why are my levels so high? Could I be carrying twins and just be earlier than I thought? Any advice is appreciated!!
