Mucus plug or discharge?

32 weeks pregnant and yesterday came back from a walk feeling a bit wet down there. Went to go and check and it seemed like a lot of discharge- quite a lot. Didn't think much of it and changed underwear and got on with making dinner. Now I'm worried it may have been the mucus plug. Should I be worried?! Did you have third trimester increased discharge? Or can this only be mucus plug?

I had a lot of thick discharge at 32-34 weeks pretty much daily. Lost my mucus plug at 36 weeks - it was clear and much much thicker than discharge and goopy/snotty. But wasn't anything to worry about. I'm now 39 weeks and still no baby! :)

Doesn't sound like it but even if it was it can grow back so nothing to worry about.

Thank you both, you've put my mind right to rest. It's a bit worrying when you're a ftm and have no idea about anything. I'm sure half the panicked calls to MAU are people like me that have no idea what to expect!
