Query Miscarriage

Hi i was 6+3 days and i went for the toilet, had a sharp pain and when i looked in the toilet there was blood. I rang epu who organised me and scan the next day and they saw nothing on either internal or external scan. I had a blood test and got told my hgc level was 93 ..... i have another blood test tomorrow to see what level im on then. What im finding odd is the doctor said its probably a miscarriage but iv not been in severe pain and since that bit of blood 2 days ago iv not had another drop leave me. I feel like i haven't had one even though thats what im being told. Anyone else experienced this ??

I had a miscarriage at the start of the year at approx 8 or 9 weeks, on the Monday small stain of blood on pants, Tuesday evening, heavy clots, Wednesday evening clots, Thursday eased a bit, Friday morning clots, had the scan Friday morning couldn't see any sign of baby so I might have passed it in that time. All that week I had no pain at all, until that Friday after the scan I was in alot of pain for approx 30 mins. I hope everything will be ok with u, best advice is to get a scan even if you have to pay to go pravite. Good luck

I'm sorry to hear this. I think they're advising you due to their own experience as they deal with different pregnant women everyday. For example someone at 6+3 there should definitely be a heart beat and also the average hcg should definitely be over a 1000hcg at that stage. The second blood test is for them to see whether your hcg is decreasing or increasing.

Is there a chance you might have got your dates wrong ? That maybe you're 5weeks instead of 6 weeks ?

Yes the radiographer said maybe my dates are wrong as i told her i have long cycles at times due to polyslcystic ovaries... i suppose i will know for definite tomorrow when i get my 2nd lot of blood results. Thanks. Just wondered how iv had no pain or lots of blood
