Coming off progesterone just before 16 week mark

I've been on progesterone from the day I got my positive. I am 16 weeks tomorrow, all scans have been perfect and in line with what they are meant to be. Even had a sex scan on Sunday which showed we are having a little girl, again heartbeat all strong. I had my last progesterone Monday night, now Thursday so I have been without for 3 days now. And the anxiety has kicked in a little now I'm not depending on it in a sense. Has anyone got any stories about when they came off it and was it all okay? I'm worried the baby still needs it.

My clinic gave me enough to last until they wanted me off it. All being a 3 days before I hit 16 weeks, but they said that's what they were happy with and when I run out stop, which was Monday. My levels were never checked either, it was a "try it and see if it helps" basis trial I suppose. And it bloody did help after 4 miscarriages I've got my rainbow🤞🏼

I was in a similar situation to you, but was on progesterone for 12 weeks due to two early miscarriages and having spent 2 years trying to get pregnant. I was so anxious coming off it, but I’m now approaching 28 weeks with no worries. My biggest reassurances came when I had my 20 week scan and when I started feeling him move.
I hope that helps to give you some peace of mind and wish you the best of luck!!!
