Hi, I've had this kind of discharge for the past 3 days, it's only a small amount but still has me worried! Does this look normal? Picture to show.

I think you should check with your GP, or midwife if you can get hold of one.

Bleeding in early pregnancy can be absolutely harmless to baby, or it can be a sign of something going wrong. Your GP or midwife can help work that out and get you any medical help you might need.

When you speak to them, be clear about the colour of the discharge. I would describe that discharge as bleeding rather than discharge.

I really hope you can get some medical advice soon, and hope you have a positive outcome Thanks

Hi op, is it brown? If so its old blood so generally nothing to worry about but give the midwife a call and explain it to them and they can advise properly

Thankyou for your replies, its brown mucus type discharge.
I spoke to the triage line who said its nothing to worry about, but with my anxiety I cant help but panic!

@Charlu89 mine is the same (larger amounts) and has been like this for 10 days now ! Scan looks ok but I'm speaking with obstetrician about it on Monday.

Did they give a reason for it? I didn't get an explanation and think that makes it hard not to worry. I understand your anxiety if they just said 'don't worry about it'. X
