COVID test for induction

Going for an induction in a few days, hospital has already done a COVID test on me. Midwife didn’t mention it to me but on leaflet it says to self isolate until result. Is this up to date information? And does my birthing partner need one as she never said or mentioned it to me? Would be good to hear from anyone who has been through a recent induction

I think you need to ask your trust. I didn't have to have a COVID test before a recent induction (6 weeks ago) partner needed a negative lateral flow each day. I then got tested once on the maternity ward.

It must be very different for each trust. I was induced back in May and didn’t need a test prior to being admitted. I had one once I was admitted though. My partner never needed to have one.
