Hi, I'm 13 weeks pregnant and thinking of telling my work this week about the pregnancy. I'm pretty sure I want to finish work end of March (due date mid-May) to have some time at home before baby arrives, but I'm now wondering if it's worth using my holiday at the start or end of my mat leave. I currently work 2.5 days per week, so my holiday allowance is 14 days and refreshes start of April. If after mat leave I go back only 2 days a week, which is what I probably want to do, will I get all my 14 days to use for 2-day weeks or will it still be 2.5 days for the annual leave and then go down to 2 days when I start work again? I have to say I'd much rather have 7 weeks holiday to use compared to 5.5!
That is, if I actually go back at all, which isn't 100% certain...
