Evaporation Line on Clear Blue??

Hi all! So I haven’t started my period and so took a test, 3 tests in fact which were all clearly negative (even after going back to check later which I know you shouldn’t). I guessed it was too early and waited a few days.
I did another and it started off blank so I put it away quickly dismissing it. But maybe an hour later I checked it again and it showed a blue line - however now I’m worried it might be an evaporated line, as I followed it with two clear blue digital ones which both said not pregnant?!

If you’ve checked the test outside the window, it’s almost certainly an evap and you’ll need to do another test and totally discount that one.

Hi, I have had this this week. On Tuesday I took a test. In the first 3 mins it was negative however I chucked it away. About 15 mins later I was curious so looked at it again and there was a blue line down it which is quite dark. The next day I did another one and after 3 mins it was negative again so left it on the side and went to work. My boyfriend then sent me a picture of it and it had a clear blue line down it?

I have used the clear blue ultra early tests so not sure whether I am or not!

It's too thin a line. I would say that was an evap sorry

This is what my two look like! My best friend showed me a picture of hers (her daughter is 1 now) and hers was the same so I wouldn't say the thickness of the line really matters!

I did another the morning that I got my period and it was negative - someone suggested implantation bleeding ??

I've taken 2 early cb tests and both were negative until about 20 mins later when lines showed up. Thinking they are probably Evap lines but holding out hope!

Why wouldn't you use it again? The test is correct and you didn't follow instructions properly - it says disregard results after 10 mins or so.

I had the exact the same evap line after an hour and knew it's an evap, as per clear instructions.

@Littlebun1 the instructions state not to read the result after 10 mins or so. So please disregard.

Look at it this way: if instructions say boil an egg for 10 mins, would you boil it for 2 mins and ask people if it's cooked?

Same with these tests - I know you might want to cling onto hope, but results should be visible within a minute or so, if it's positive.

This was mine, quite strong but it wasn’t positive as I came on my period. Was really upsetting! 😔

I've just had the same felt sicky like in my first pregnancy, so thought I'd test early and got this I think they are just evap lines not going to get my hopes up xx

@Jesse1822 they are just Evap lines sadly. I took two more tests last night and this morning and they are negative. I really got my hopes up with them! I'm 11 dpo now so would have expected a clear positive to come up! X

Your comment has stayed with today in a negative way - yes perhaps I did not follow instructions exactly, but with four young children it’s already hard to have 2 minutes alone in the bathroom. I was not trying to undermine the test instructions, I simply dared to believe in the truth I wanted. And I stand by my decision to not use this brand, as I have not experienced the same phenomenon with any other and so thank you for your opinion but also perhaps bare that in mind other peoples delicate circumstances before commenting so bluntly.

I'm sorry you're feeling delicate, but the company asks to disregard it after 15 mins as the test can show incorrect results.

Of course you don't have to buy them anymore 🤷‍♀️ it's still a good quality, accurate test.

Btw attached is mine, so I have been there. Told myself not to read it after 30 mins again.

Hi I think I have done the same. I did a test and it was negative straight away but I then had someone knock at the door and when I checked after it looked like this…. But since I have done another test and it was negative but still no period

Are these evaporation lines or positive?
