Hi. For me it happened because I’d had very heavy bleeds during the first 18 weeks. My water broke at 23 weeks when I turned over in bed. I went on to deliver at 29 weeks. Contractions started on their own.
Same happened again but at 29 weeks, delivered at 30 weeks. Both healthy happy kids.
Why are you worried about preterm labour? Hope you’re ok

I didn't naturally labour but I had an emergency c section at 30 weeks due to IUGR (poor cord flow, placental failure) and poor brain activity. DS had reduced movements and hadn't moved for a few days. If DP hadn't forced me to go in, DS wouldn't be here today.
He was born at a tiny 2 pounds 1 ounce and my placenta was measuring at 24 weeks!

5 weeks in NICU and he came home at 3.5 pounds. Had oxygen for 3-4 weeks (can't quite remember) but no other issues as the care for premature babies is now outstanding. Hope everything is alright OP.
