I lost my baby boy last year at 23.2 due to PPROM.
I'm currently 13.2 and I had a cervical cerclage put in last Wednesday. I am absolutely happy it's the right decision.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this - I had some pink tinged mucus on Thursday and Friday. Then yesterday morning I woke up and I had a lot of thick brown discharge. I contacted the consultant and she said it was old blood and not to worry. To only worry if it became heavy and red. For the rest of yesterday my discharge was completely clear - no blood.
This morning when I woke up, I had brown discharge again. But then after wiping a few times I had pink tinged mucus again (quite a lot more than Thursday and Friday). It's gone back to brown now.
I know the consultant told me not to worry unless it was a lot of red blood, but I'm super anxious, especially due to our loss last year.
I'm hoping other ladies that have had cerclages might have some insight!!
