Hi all, just going through my second miscarriage at the moment and finding care from the NHS completely nonexistant. My first miscarriage was medically managed after a private 8 week scan showed no heartbeat. The early pregnancy unit at UCLH didn't call me back for an entire week and the first call that lasted 5 minutes was all the care they offered. These past three days am miscarrying at 6 weeks and the early pregnancy unit hasn't called back or answered my calls in the last 3 days. I'm not a case for A&E as I'm not in a lot of pain and the bleeding is just like a prolonged period so nothing that seems too off, but it is my second miscarriage and not being able to get any care from professionals or reassurance of any sort is just f*ing hard.
I think before I try again, I'd like to find a good private gyno that also does their own scans (for normal gyno check-ups and ideally also for pregnancy) who I can go and talk to about my experience and get checked out, potentially do the tests that the NHS only offers after 3 or 4 miscarriages just to rule that stuff out before I try again. Do you have any recommendations in central or north London? I live in Camden but would travel across London for a good Gyno.
Would really appreciate some pointers! Don't care whether male or female.
