Hi all - I was using OPK's to determine ovulation and going by my Cb adv digi I would be bang on 6 weeks when I had my early TV scan.

The scan showed me at 5+6 weeks - should I be worried?

CRL also was 2.9mm - now I'm googling it seems small?

The consultant raised no concerns and said nothing about the day behind or the size, but I'm worried after seeing the results.
Can anyone help?

One day isn't anything to be worried about. Congratulations !

At such an early stage a fraction of a millimetre can affect the measurement by several days, it won't be very accurate that early. Don't worry about it :)

I knew my dates as I had IVF but once I had my NHS scan they put me a day behind like you, absolutely fine Smile very common to be out by a day or two.
You have a heartbeat which is brilliant, ignore the measurements, as pp baby can move slightly and they are out.
No concerns were raised to you so try and relax!
Congratulations Thanks

Congratulations!

I was told It can safely be a week either side of your dates. A day really isn't another to be worried about at all Smile
Also although you know ovulation you don't know when the egg was fertilised and then implanted. This can throw your dates out as well, just had a similar situation but I had positive pregnancy test but couldn't see anything on scans for 4 weeks. Must of implanted right at the last moment it can be between 6-12 days.

Hope that helps
