Sudden Saggy Bottom to bump?!

Hi All,

As the title explains! Just turned 39 weeks and literally noticed first thing this morning - I have a really wobbly saggy bottom to my bump, which until now has been really firm.

I saw a post on here recently that made reference to pre-eclampsia?! But I’ve also read it’s from when baby descends into the pelvis. I’ve not got my midwife app until next Thursday. Is this normal ladies? Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you xx

Hi @JamDoughnut21 I think that was my post that ended in me being diagnosed with preeclampsia. I’m not 100% sure if it was related or not to be honest. The consultant just said it was water retention. Just keep an eye out for any swelling on hands/feet/face

Hi @NovRainbow5!! Thank you so much for replying. Yes you’re right. I haven’t had any swelling thankfully - so close to the end now I’m just panicking at every little change. Hope you’re doing ok xxx

I'd give your midwife a ring in the morning just to put your mind at ease.
