Not sure where else to go or what to do.

Me and my partner have three children, 2, 1 and 4 months old. Obviously very close in age already and they're a handful but we manage (usually me by myself most times as my partner works weekends and evenings) and it's challenging sometimes but amazing.

Although we have been using protection have unexpectedly become pregnant. I feel like financially we are already stretched enough and between all the other kids it is just not feasible. Am I wrong for thinking this? We both want another baby but financially we can't make it work and I don't think having another baby would benefits the kids we have now as I would have to divide my time up even more. I love the kids and would love to have more but just don't think this is possible. I'm so heartbroken and feel like I'm going to regret it but just don't know what else to do.... anyone been through this?

Could you go to the Pregnancy Choices section? It’s under Body & Soul. It might be a more appropriate place than posting about abortion in the Pregnancy section!

If you are not 100% sure about termination then it may not be the right thing for you. You have time to think it through before deciding. Honestly your time and money can be stretched if needed, I say this as a mum of 6 with a hubby that works away A LOT.

Good luck whatever you decide

I’m one of 4. We are close in age. My mum always said that 4 is actually easier than 3. There are charities out there that can help financially and with equipment etc. Pm me if you want more information.
If you don’t want an abortion then likely you will regret it? Babies don’t have to cost a lot of money. I’ll keep you in my thoughts.

As you already have young ones presumably you can reuse clothes/equipment which is usually the biggest cost
Don’t rush in to any decision as a knee jerk reaction - there are always ways around things if you want this baby xxx

It sounds like you want to keep this child if you can. I'm the youngest of 4 (plus 2 elder half sisters, we all grew up as 6 kids together), and I was an accident. Money was always tight but obv I'm so happy they kept me! As others say, my mum said it was easier with 4, and it shouldn't add that much cost (childcare perhaps if you're working), but that wouldn't be for too long until the older ones are at school? I'll be thinking of you x
